Jennifer Maslin trio featuring John Harriman & James Sunney
Singer Jennifer Maslin returns to Melford House with her ever popular Jenny Maslin & friends jazz night. A regular at venues such as the Grey Lady Music Lounge and Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, Jennifer is joined by critically acclaimed jazz pianist John Harriman and high-in-demand double bassist James Sunney. Both John and James have enjoyed international careers, performing across the world in a number of musical outfits. This sees them enjoying a music night of favourite jazz standards, accompanying singer and violinist Jennifer Maslin.
In our first intimate salon jazz event, the trio will round off the weekend with some top notch, well known jazz numbers: From gems such as It's only a paper moon, Autumn leaves/ Les feuilles mortes and Girl from Ipanema to My funny valentine and All blues, there's hopefully something to get all jazz lovers' toes tapping!
